Hello. Josie Style is not my real name. But it’s a good and memorable one, so it’s what I use. I’m a Brazilian artist currently living and studying in Portland, Oregon. I make all kinds of shit. I am primarily interested in film, music, and writing. This blog is mostly dedicated to those three things, but there is other stuff in here too! That’s what the Hodgepodge section of the blog is for. I started getting into film in 2024. Around August that year, I got a bunch of friends and we watched all 14 Air Bud movies together. These movies were total dogshit, but they did lead to my friends introducing me to a lot of actually good films. Watching movies with these friends, particularly Josie and the Pussycats (2001), made me fall in love with the medium. Music and writing, on the other hand, have been more constant interests in my life. I’ve been excited about them since I was a kid.
